But I knew many people at that time, who thought increased nationalism from Fidesz will push people to consume more national products, except they started to immediately gatekeep what national products were though telling people what is a “Hungarikum” - which itself was astroturfed by booze manufacturer Zwack Zrt. (it literally came from their product, Unicum’s name - yes, it’s called that), to make Hungarians drink their overpriced products more, all while Hungary struggles with an alcohol problem.
