Tired of misleading cookie banners? The EU Commission has finally proposed a solution: set your privacy preferences in the browser once, and never see another banner. Unfortunately, the tracking industry is pushing back – and so far, they’ve been successful. We need YOUR help to #KillTheCookieBanner!

Ah, so the EU proposed it? Something that was already there and could have been used instead of the bullshit a web user encounters multiple times a day?
Let me guess what they will call it. hmmm Do not… send cookies… dooo not… fingerprint me… dooo not… track… track! yes track sounds nice. They should call it Do Not Track.
Thanks EU for acting that fast.
I think they could even shorten it to DNT :)
Plot twist: no one will give a fuck anyway because the fines will be mostly on paper, and the
lawyersLLMs of the biggest offenders will find a shitton of loopholes in the legislation.
