    But have we thought about all the money and time and gas and everything else that it saves us in the end? Because we can build subways/light rails/public transit… or we can all try to drive to work at the same time and sit in gridlock burning gas wasting time and being pissed off because the roads can’t handle it.

    And good luck fixing all the roads and infrastructure to prevent the twice a day gridlock cheaper than this public transit.

      The issue is that the money for transit isn’t going as far as other countries. Other countries can get multiple projects built at the cost of building one in the English speaking world. Fixing the issue will likely require reform in several areas.
