It’s not unfortunately. It’s the new iteration of the Shahed drone from Iran. It’s got a jet engine now and where Ukraine was taking out ~95% of the previous version, the number for the new drone has gone down to ~60%. To make things worse these are way faster, so people don’t have the time to run away anymore before it hits, unlike with the previous slow moving drone with a lawn mower engine you could hear coming from far away.

To be fair, when it comes to these drones, they only have to work once. Cheap Chinese garbage may still be good enough.
