We had a local murder visit our block every evening for a couple of weeks, flying about, perching in trees, screaming because they’re crows. But, they don’t only scream, they make other adorable noises, too.
Sadly, they moved on a couple of nights ago to some other lucky neighbors. I’m sure not everyone enjoyed having them around, but I did. I like watching crows be crows.
You forgot “eating peanuts left out by gracious
servantsadmirers”! That’s a very important step.I live to serve.
Do crows know I’m trying to be their friend when I caw at them
If an Eldritch beast suddenly started saying your name in a weird raspy voice, would you feel like it’s trying to be your friend
Depends. Does it have big naturals.
Probably! They are super smart and will hold grudges against people that treat then badly and they will also tell all their friends about shitty people.
You can also make friends with them and they will have your back.
There is also the part where all the crowd in a rather large region all simultaneously go “somewhere” to do “something” and no human knows where that place is or what they do there.
Big ol murder of crows
I may not know where or what, but I know that it is loud
Gotta fuck with some hawks too
The best part is that this is a 3-hour cycle.
Holy shit I read that as “cow” every time and was very very confused.
Wake up (okay)
Eat some garbage (I guess grass crappy)
Fuck with a rabbit (do cows not like rabbits?)
Scream in a tree (wtf)
One letter of a difference makes a much better story
I was wondering if I’d missed out on the big cow-rabbit war before getting to number four and figuring out I’d skipped the letter R in the first line.
They love peanuts
And cheesecake! I got my trash raided when I lived up north, but seeing the crows with their beaks and faces covered in cheesecake was absolutely worth the cleanup. They were so happy.
