Irving Park on the Blue line was my morning and evening walking nightmare. I always felt so exposed to just a random accident especially a truck tire which I did witness hit the station but no people or trains thankfully.
I’d be less concerned about noise and more so flying debris. Interstates are dangerous in that flying debris can be as bad as chunk of spare iron flying.
