Tankies are conservatives pretending to be normal people. Only conservatives think the opposite of “conservative” is “liberal”. If you point out that “progressive” is opposite of conservative in a tankie space, you could be banned. This is because tankies are conservatives.
Conservatives are instinctively violent and hostile and ban for the slightest disagreements, especially when they are proven wrong.
