I thought the lantern flys are less of a problem stateside now? I thought the intial problem was spiders and other jawns didnt know they could eat them, but now they are eating the lantern flys?
Lol yea, jawn is a very widely used word. For pretty much anything.
Had a customer at my counter the otherday, and even my coworkers were astonished at how often me and him used jawn, almost every single time in place of a different word. It wasnt till the coworkers bought it up to me afterwards I realized just how many times we used it, close to 12.

They are there but I can’t say they are still a problem. They are sometimes all over my porch.
(intrigued by your use of jawn, I haven’t been to Philly in a while.)
