If they would stop inventing words and learn to validly express what’s going on, the educated wouldn’t just instantly dismiss them. Such as is the case when you run into people who invent words and change their meaning. Like a year or two ago, I said some mildly zionist stuff and kind of baited the dbzer0 folks so I can block the most toxic debaters on the topic. But my views have changed towards somewhat antizionist. My view that there are toxic debaters hasn’t changed. There are plenty of bad actors from both sides of the debate on the topic such as Samskara (who luckily got banned) on the Zionist side and on the other side you got the tankie triad saying shit like “there are no civilians in Israel” or condoning Hamas or the PLFP.
And while there are still Zionist users on Lemmy, they are far and between. On feddit.org for example, I can count the clearly Zionist users this year on one hand.
Honestly, fuck that guy. I actually tried to iron things out with them in private messages after a couple bad interactions. It turns out I was overly charitable. They’re a very unpleasant person. Very self righteous and extremely wrong about a lot.
