If you voted for the leftist parties and stopped screaming about how anyone who does is a traitor because they’re not supporting the corporate ghoul of the hour then maybe the system would change eventually. I’ve seen this happen in so many elections. If the same people who were saying this shit back in 2004 had just voted for the candidate with the actual best policies and not whoever was ‘blue’ then maybe politics wouldn’t still be a race to the bottom where the Overton window just shifts as far right as possible every election season.
