I wouldn’t be so sure. Nobody in the city, no matter how well off they are, is immune to random violence. Even if they don’t go over that bridge on the regular, they all drive (or are driven) in city traffic regularly, and know how insane it all is. They can relate to that feeling when you almost get in an accident and are worried about the other guy popping off.

Plus, there are cameras everywhere now, they have all the footage they need to tie the shooting to his car. It will be impossible to beat the rap on this.

But, he probably did himself a favor by killing the guy before he got to New Jersey. Because everyone on that side of the bridge uses it often, including the judges. They would take it personally.
