Crazy progress happening crazy fast. Some people are already porting Switch 2 games to PC via AI recompilation.
Plus, someone earlier shared Mario Kart World running on Switch 1 (albeit buggy and incomplete).
I know it isn’t the new version, but Ship of Harkinian is great especially with HD textures and a bit of tweaking controls. Being able to make my controls like Dark Souls was pretty cool. Oh setting the camera farther back was also super nice, I forgot how close behind Link the camera was. Just finished collecting all 100 Golden Skulltula’s this morning in fact.
to add: quiver launcher makes ports like ship of harkinian super easy to install and run.
SoH took like 1 minute to get working, I downloaded it, added my legally obtained ROM, then started it.
Ok I briefly looked into Quiver Launcher it seems super neat. I’ll need to look into this longer later.
It’s like steam but for decomp/recomp ports! And you never have to look at github!
I played using SoH about and year ago and it was great. That’s what has me looking forward to the remake so much!
