Probably would work better if everyone knew what that is:
Powerful, precise, and free forever. Discover Affinity — the next generation of professional photo, design, and layout software built for creative freedom.
Sounds good, tbh
It’s a replacement for many parts of the Adobe suite. Canva bought it a while back and then made it free but added a bunch of AI stuff. It’s good, much better than gimp, but not as good as most adobe stuff. I still want affinity to have a Lightroom replacement and then I can drop adobe forever.
Check out darktable, very good lighteoom replacement after the initial learning curve and figuring out photo importing
Does darkroom support Fuji compressed raw?
I had issues with that before, but it’s also possible I’m mistaking it for dark table.

That’s what they said. ;)
I think I meant this in the opposite order. I can’t keep these two straight.

They are probably wanting to get ahead of the artcraft project that has all the major applications reverse engineered by ai. (Not feature complete yet)
I think canva was in need of desktop program and rather than developing one from scratch, they straight up buy affinity and slap their main selling point of the web version of canva (AI art)
I am still upset about the Canva acquisition.
I hate the incentive system shipping a free creative suite creates, the pay for major updates system was fine.
Ikr, I have V2, and was super happy. It’s no Adobe, but for that price. Take my money.
At least affinity studio is… doable. And free
i understand your concern but i have had no issues with v3. i do like the app for all.
