Maybe find the middle ground? It is certainly a good reason to celebrate that republicans lost and Trump shuts up for once. It is also true that there are democrats that would just as well fit the republican party. But it is also sure as hell true that true progressives can only come out of democrats not republicans. So US should make it count, hold anti progressive, status quo democrats to account and root them out. Then it will become a flawless victory.
Yup getting complacent is how Republican can still win 2028 and get Vance as president. Especially when many D voters are doing so because of living cost and it is probably not going to be fixed fast enough.
