    If you ask me, this was the most appalling part of the article.

    Are there actually people who would want to go to a meeting like this? People who would legitimately get excited about listening to a bunch of others prattle on about this shit? If so, I would hate to even imagine what those people are like.

    If not, someone went through all the trouble to organize and set up and coordinate all the many things to make this happen, and neither the participants nor the organizer are interested at all.

    The corporate world is nightmarish.

      No, no one wants to go to Walmart’s meetings. But Walmart has a lot of weight to throw around in retail, so if you want them to stock your products you have to glaze them.

        I get that, but surely even the Walmart side of folks would have to see this as a bother rather than anything else…right?

        I just can’t wrap my head around it. I suppose that if such a person exists who would actually feel passion and enthusiasm about Walmart retail zoom meetings, my line of work would be just as bewildering to them.
