At least if you’re talking at a higher volume. I can understand if you’re someone like Lady Idzihar who whispers a lot in her videos, but even she moves away from the camera when she’s talking louder.

But otherwise people are wayyyy to close to their phones/cameras when filming videos sometimes. IMO the general rule of thumb should be “if I was this close to a person’s face, would we be uncomfortable.” And considering that some of these people are yelling into the camera, yes, I would be uncomfortable irl too.

This does actually go for yelling too. I’m not getting trauma triggered by it or anything, just that, if I was in front of you and you were talking to me in person, you wouldn’t be shouting this much.
