    The article says it’s a composite image. So did he take a (stunning) composite image of the sun and photoshop his friend into the picture, or is there more to it?

      I think it’s a mix of the two: properly exposing both subjects and freeze the jump mid flight probably needed vastly different camera settings. Similar to nightscape photography, with the camera compensating earth rotation for the stars and then different static exposures for the foreground
