Steam punk magical-realist world-building at its finest.
I played Dishonored for the first time two years ago. One of the few games I’ve played right through to the end. Started in on the second one a couple months later, but it just didn’t keep my interest long. Should give it another chance, along with a dozen other games I need to go back to eventually…
First 30 seconds of every mission : “I’m going to be soooo sneaky”
The rest of the mission: “Guess I have to kill everybody now”
I preferred Prey, but Dishonored was pretty good
This remains a favorite. 1 & 2. Of course, corporate dissolved the studio.
It’s a good game but it’s nothing spectacular.
This is how I’ve always felt, it’s a good game by any measure, but it’s not the world changing breakthrough they try to hail it as
I think the main problem is it was the last real entry into the genre that did anything interesting.
It’s been a long time in gaming since a decade meant shit
1st one was really good but the 2nd one didn’t click with me.
