    They get loaded up into pods and shipped back to the head office until next season. This keeps turnover rates extremely low, but hiring opportunities are minimal.

    And you don’t want to know what happened to the last one. Defrost rot is a terrible thing to witness.

      This is such a great story premise. The Spirit Halloween employees are tortured spirits that only get to interact with the mortal plane to work as retail employees one month a year.
