    The classic, calling it out as blind dogmatism. They do not know the meaning of the word dogma, but for those that look it up, there is a small probability they grow just enough to understand, and see the implications.

    Also, pointing out the fact that negative feedback systems such as shame and guilt are incapable of motivating positive outcomes, and are not capable of motivating independent ethics.

    And finally, Abraham was clearly schizophrenic, and is the foundational cornerstone of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Without Abraham they have no divine providence. He is not some minor figure. He is the anchor point between the creation story and every event thereafter. If you actually understand any of these faiths, they are invalid without Abraham. Abraham was a schizophrenic that heard voices in his head, strapped his son to a rock, and had the knife out about to kill him. If your neighbor did this same thing, and told you it was God’s will and voice. You would of course listen and follow them as a shaman saint right? God’s Plan is literally the result of the homeless mentally ill guy down by the railroad tracks that you ignore when you see him.
