According to a Valve Engineer, the Steam Machine specs outclass the most common PC configurations. The company relied on its own hardware surveys to choose the system’s components. Even as an entry-level option, Valve claims that 4K/60 fps performance is realistic, despite a memory-limited GPU.
Only reason I can’t play certain games is the developers want kernal level anti cheat. Luckily even Microsoft is working on getting rid of that.
AFAIK MS is ramping up intrusive anti-cheat.
Why would a customer care who’s responsible. Valve marketing is misleading. If a company said their headphones work with all phones but they were using a 3.5mm jack who would be responsible?
Except its not misleading, as they’ve straight up said you are free to install any OS you want without restriction. So its true, you can play any game on it if you want.
What?
