A new update has hit the Epic Games Store, and it finally allows users to gift games directly to friends, much like other stores on PC.

Well, it’s a lot easier to call Steam a monopoly and complain about unfair competition than it is to try to implement the same features and actually compete.

This. Corporate public traded company CEOs criticizing Valve as a monopoly when they alone made PC gaming the best platform ever to play games is freaking ridiculous. In exchange for our money, Valve gave us more than anyone else. The return we get is far greater than with any other gaming company.

        Praise the GabeN & GOG.

Well I bought one exclusive (at that time) coz I’m a sucker for zombie coop (I even got a fake CC just for that, they don’t need my data). But before and after that I bought thousands at steam and gog. I thought i was the one legit customer there 😁

I think I bought maybe 1 or 2 games on sale in the years and years of free games I’ve claimed… does that mean epic marketing succeeded with me?

It does. They still deserve all the flak for how long it took them to implement it.
