the most anticlimactic ending, with “goodbye grandfather” was a mess. the entire second movie felt like they totally totally ran out of mojo and everyone’s just watching the time when they can throw everything and go home. the old syfy 3 part webseries was way better representation of the story… but, we all.know, hollywood and quality in the same sentence feels forced for many years now

The two things I’m looking forward to (if they bother showing them) are how they depict the Guild Navigators and Tleilaxu. The latter was kinda teased in the Dune: Prophecy series but that was a lower budget production, so I wonder if they will do it differently.
