    The biggest reason is that now you don’t have to pay electricians to run cables; you pay low voltage guys who are much cheaper and are probably already running g low voltage cable for network connectivity. In addition, each light can be addressable meaning you can have specific light fixtures do certain things.

      Interesting, seems like a big leap of faith for new builds but it makes sense if you assume you’ll always have the building, and this technology will always be alive.
