Cat: “I am not sure. I would like for you to open the door, and just keep it open, so I can sit on the threshold and ponder that very question for the next twenty minutes before deciding I’d rather stay inside.”
It’s the opposite of my Maine coon. I swear the colder it was the longer he’d stay outside.
Fun little time travel novel.
“Door Into Summer” by Robert A. Heinlein. The narrator talks about his cat. In winter, the beast will run from door to window to door. The owner opens the portals, but it’s never the door into summer.
And yes, my evil companion does the same thing.
