The number of times I have stepped on one barefoot in the middle of the night is far too high. But why do you leave power cords lying around?

They come into the house on your clothes, your shoes, my dog’s fur. Yes they end up lying around the house. The number of times I have stepped on one barefoot in the middle of the night is far too high.
But why do you leave power cords lying around?
Keeps me on my toes.
And off of them if you fuck up, I’d imagine.
