Plex is starting to enforce its new rules, which prevent users from remotely accessing a personal media server without a subscription fee.

The only reason I went with plex was easy remote access. Now with the state on reverse proxies and tailscale tunnels we happily ditched it.
just pay for a lifetime pass…
