      unfortunately, yes. as the commander in chief he can just unilaterally stop supporting an ally or ally himself with one country or another so long as no formal treaty is created or enforced. however, it is another step in him losing domestic support from his base. if you want to know how his base feels about him, look at marjory taylor green. the post-trump era is going to be here sooner rather than later and she feels that catering to the base is the best way to accumulate personal power, and the republican base is at this moment feeling very over trump

          no for sure. she’s very saavy. she’s in contact with them and listens to them. she’s extremely representative of who she represents. she is, however, also an awful person and should be understood to both be pro-hierarchy and in desire to be atop said hierarchy

        Does Trump care though?

        He’s been doing loads of unpopular things at about the same time as a couple dozen million dollars have been donated here or there.

        Russia spends more than that each day of war.

        Exactly. Trump wants to cater to his base. Doing so far too basically ally with Russia over all the current allies would be just bizarre, not even maga would take that.

        Especially now after aggression in Venezuela
