The latest NBC News poll shows two-thirds of registered voters down on the value proposition of a degree. A majority said degrees were worth the cost a dozen years ago.

    College degrees have been oversold for decades.

    I don’t oppose education, but if a degree is gonna put people $100k in debt, it better pay for itself. Most don’t anymore, in this shithole economy.

    But it’d be better if education was free.
