      He has no memory of the MRI or even seeing the doctor. People around him talk about a thing that happened and he makes up a story about it because he has no idea what they are talking about.

        possibly… or he doesn’t want to tell the public about his health problems so he can seem stronger….
        he’s definitely fading mentally but i think he would remember an MRI machine… it’s not a simple process

          So either he doesn’t remember the MRI, or his actual condition is worse than people thinking he does not remember the MRI.
