I don’t care for streaming that much anymore, especially for movies. I rarely watch movies at home, and when I do it’s my favourites on 4k bluray with Dolby atmos. Every other time it’s going to the cinema usually once a week if I can. Netflix have always been shit when it comes to the cinema.

All streaming is bad. Any blip in connection drops it below 720p. Between that and data usage and data collection, why not pirate? That’s even before mentioning giving money to mega-cops.

I personally prefer to put my money where my mouth is on the things I’d want to see more of (even if my contribution is technically negligible nowadays). So I get the 4k blurays of my favourites. And since I like going to the cinema (I just pay monthly to see as many films as I want), I’ll have already seen the films to know what are and aren’t my favourites (most of the time) so I don’t need to pirate movies.
