What would be the largest affordable housing project in California's history has been delayed by the courts for a second time — for the same reason. But recent state legislation may give the city and developers a path forward.
This height limit is pure non-sense. I hope they are defeated.
Why not just build more parking lots though? Why make tall building where you might be far above car? How does building tall sell more cars? What if poor people begin to move into tall buildings how will we prevent that? What cuts to mass transit will fund the construction of these taller buildings?
