    Definitely playable but it can be a chore at times. 2 is slightly better

      2 is significantly better imo mechanically, and if you throw a handful of mods on top of that I think it just plays really well in general.

      Apart from the beginning. I love FO2, but fuck the temple of trials and the first couple of hours.

        When I played through last I modded out the whole temple of trials. Such a waste of time.

          Temple of Trials was 100% executive meddling.

          Executives demanded a tutorial level, and thus the temple of trials was forcibly conjured into existence against everyone elses insistence and desire.

          its the only black mark on a otherwise fantastic game…unfortunately its right at the start and sours to many people on the greater game.
