There is really no societal benefit in showing violence porn though. Everyone who is going to watch it already knows he’s dead. It’s not showing new hidden information.
I agree that censorship is generally bad, but sensationaliaed sharing of awful footage is also bad. Australia also bans love streams for other terrorist attacks to remove it as a propaganda tool. So, it’s not just Kirk, but a policy to reduce extremism.

Know what’s worse than censorship? Having a single person in charge of social culture. You can turn him off and he invades any topic with unavoidable invasion. Why, because he can force influence because wealth. I’ll take a slice of cutting him off even in the name of censorship.
