idk how to play this game anymore. apparently online-first, but i recall enjoying it offline on my android.

Cabals: Magic & Battle Cards

shit just feels comforting to me with so much having changed over the years.

i just miss the OST, it’d be everything, if i could enjoy the ingame images outside the game i’d be happy for that too. like a merry christmas

tho not expecting replies to this so

I’d look for old apks for it on places like apk mirror, then look into pulling the assets out of the apk file.

If you’re lucky, the music is just sitting in the apk in some standard format like mp3, wav, or ogg.

Likewise, someone else mentioned there are PC versions. You could check for those on various abandonware sites.

found apks for it on apk pure, idk anything about apk extraction yet - i’ll figure that out =)

i have a harder time finding my way on abandonware sites since idk any legit yet

edit: the oldest and the newest release of the apk shows they used unity to make the game. all the non-code files have gibberish names and seem to be split up. would super appreciate a comment on what’s going on with the files

I played the Cabals games too on PC and mobile. Sad thing to see them go without proper credits. Here’s the game’s profile on MobyGames. You can also search for Cabals: Card Blitz there.
I remember searching for both games’ videos on YT years ago but they’re either deleted or buried.

I also played Mabinogi Duel and felt pretty hurt about it’s demise. Worst thing about these games as usually happens with app store titles is they were games as a service, with frequent online checks and so on, so the only way of playing them today would be to find a cracked/modded .apk file (might need a download for the obb folder) that doesn’t require any online checks and pray it’s still compatible with your smartphone’s firmware version. For now, I found Steam user Gooby shared these assets when working on a mod for Tabletop Simulator.

Try to grab an Audacity-like program for android. Audacity itself hasn’t been made for Android but I’m sure there are similar programs.

See if any program allows you to record audio within android and spit out an export copy to be saved. That way you can record however long you want. This is what I do with Audacity on desktop, is record audio on desktop on things that couldn’t be found in a more streamline way.

You might have to google the OST tracklist and manually ytdlp them, sometimes theres not a unified playlist or single supercut
