As global warming turns that part of the world ice-free, the benefits of mineral exploitation and strategic military bases make taking Greenland a no-brainer from a logical point of view. From a sane point of view, the US is all but declaring war on NATO. I cannot begin to guess how this plays out, but I think the Trump Reich will fall before any of this becomes reality.
