    I got an electric years ago and it’s great. Sometimes I run out of juice and need to recharge the battery, but I got a big lawn

    I hate this take tho:

    Another solution: Customers could loosen their expectations and accept a scattering of leaves, instead of demanding a perfectly manicured lawn

    Some people absolutely can not just let leaves hang around. North America didn’t have earthworms and none of our ecosystem is adapted to them. Mature native trees in large parts of the country are going to smother the lawn every year to outcompete any other plants.

    You don’t need to keep a lawn completely leaf free, but if you can get away with doing nothing it’s because you’re in a new build subdivision.
