Oh for sure and the learning curve itself is not the problem. But proprietary software is a big issue still. My brother had the exact same experience for his job.
And it makes sense, why would a company develop something on a platform that is not used in that company.
But it is a huge barrier. Need to run a dual OS or stay Windows.
