Looking for the best bluetooth adapter with Linux (Mint) compatibility…I got one now but it seems to have cutting out issues and doesn’t work well with some stuff (like a PS4 controller).

Or maybe it’s just Linux bluetooth being terrible as usual? Has anyone had luck with different dongles? (No scamazon links please)

Consider replacing the WiFi card (which also likely does your BT). You’ll get a nice upgrade to your WiFi in the process.

Same can apply, the board can have WiFi, or you can get a card. I had BT issues with an older Logitech mouse I had to install a different Bluetooth package. I forget which one now

Yeah. My desktop mobo has a WiFi chip plugged into a little PCIe port. It does the Bluetooth too, and you can replace it.

I bring this up because Bluetooth on a new WiFi card is likely to be better Bluetooth than a cheap dongle, and there’s a chance your setup doesn’t like the WiFi either if it doesn’t like the Bluetooth.
