Grok, the AI chatbot on the X social media platform, has issued answers recently that have startled and amused users, including insinuating that President Donald Trump is a pedophile and that Erika Kirk is actually Vice President JD Vance in drag.
LLMs are perfectly suited to make propaganda. That (and advertising, which is just corporate propaganda instead of government propaganda) is their best use. It doesn’t matter that they’re bullshit generators when the goal is to generate bullshit.
And yet Grok has been added to the DOD list of AI that can be used 🥴
