It’s funny but it’s also ignorant of Christianity. Jesus WILLINGLY CHOSE to be crucified. He knew it was going to happen before anyone else.

Fair point, but additionally it was the will of the Pharisees and the Sadducees convincing Pilate to execute Jesus on their behalf. They had no power as Jewish people to execute another Jew, so they had to use Pilate as a proxy. Also the Roman Soldiers, who had no reason to torture him before execution also proved ACAB thousands of years before the phrase.Oddly though, as my personal unpopular opinion, I always considered Judas as the sort of anti-hero, who accepted payment to turn over Jesus to the Pharisees which enabled his ability to take on sin and die on our behalf. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Jesus didn’t walk up to the Romans like, “Hey, I need you to crucify me to fulfill God’s plan.” The Romans chose to do it based on their own free will.
