Maybe I’m confused here. My Linux server has like 162 days of uptime. I reboot my home computer (arch BTW) like once a week when I remember. But my windows work laptop? If that thing stays on for more than three days shit starts falling apart at random, so it gets turned off nightly.
I (another Linux user) also don’t get this.
The idea is that both my Linux systems run pretty smoothly with few reboots. But my Windows laptop for work starts to crap the bed if I don’t reboot it every few days.
Yeah I get what you said. Like you, I rarely reboot my Linux machines. I was agreeing with you in not getting the meme.
