To be fair, I never experienced some linux user talking about it randomly. On the other hand, ai users are so annoying! Every time they’re around, they’re asking whether we saw the latest model, which one we like the most (assuming we use, as if it was a rule, and getting shocked or skeptical if we say we don’t), and stuff like that
It was back then, before elitist Linux users were either forced out, as those also treated Linux not as an OS, but as a special clubhouse.
Many of them went back to Windows of all things.
The hardest thing about hating AI isn’t that they’re sycophants, nor that they enable any old dim-wit to pretend to understand any old subject. It’s organically bringing up how much they suck in every conversation. I should know, I hate 'em
