Thought stopping statements really piss me off. The only thing they do is confuse me because they don’t provide forward momentum.
I think emotion management should be taught in school, starting in pre k and continued as the child grows up. This way they know how to hold space for people, understand boundaries, how to manage themselves. Everyone will have healthier relationships if this happens.

It is really silly that it’s not taught.
Physical Education? Check.
Academics? Check.
Emotional Intelligence? Whoa whoa whoa there, slow down now, that’s not for public education. That’s done in the home, with Jesus!
