Thought I’d create a distinct thread from the previous one asking about daily use, because I really do want to hear more on people’s pain points. Great to know people are generally sounding pretty positive in those posts who recently switched, but want to know your difficulties as well! This way old and new users can share their thoughts, hopefully to inspire a respectful discussion.
@cm0002 had a mint install that just would not work on an old Windows PC. Everything loaded fine the first time, but windows still had bitlocker on.
Turned off bitlocker and then it’s just been a maze of troubleshooting and no results trying to get the installation media to boot properly. Thinking I’ve gotten past about a dozen or more issues in bios, next up going to try a different disto
