    Elon is American granted citizenship in 2002, 24 years ago.

    I make this point not for Elon, but for other naturalized citizens. Once granted citizenship you are American, that’s one of the few good things I like about this country. I’ve lived and traveled to other countries where it doesn’t matter if you became a citizen or not because the locals will always consider you not one of them.

        I can only speak of my expirences in the US and other places, but for the most part no that’s not how it is in the US.

        Yes you can find a racist asshole in every country, but what’s the point. I wouldn’t say every Italian is uneducated because I found a person that didn’t complete school. This is why extremes make bad evidence.

        But admittedly I left the US before things got out of control. Our federal government is certainly making an attempt at trying to define who should be American. Sad to see and goes against one of the few things I truly loved about my country
