Back in those days you could add anyone as a mod in any subreddit without their consent. Spez, despite being a miserable piece of shit, never actually moderated that sub and removed himself from the team after being added.

I’m referring to how it was 10’ish years ago. As far as I can tell it was eventually banned. If it resurfaced with a different purpose, I’m unaware of that.
