      There was ISRIB for some time, but it had drastic consequences as a side-effect.

      It’s hepatotoxic, sadly.

      It’s also not universally effective, it works only against age-related memory decline, specific diseases, and injuries.

      It’s hard to get in the right amount, due to biolavailability.

      Neuralink is actualy WAY behind the current state of art. What they’re doing with terrifyingly fragile brain implants, other companies can do with a skulcap that doesn’t involve snapping off bits of metal in your brain.
