The airholes look too small. They’re probably just enough so that it doesn’t die, but it can’t be comfortable.

There are also soft-sided carriers with mesh panels which have a lot more airflow.

      • The one I have have like two mesh thing on the two sides where you’d normally put water bottles on a normal backpack… isn’t that enough airflow?

But anyways my car just slept through the entire drive, I took my cat out in the park, freaked out and didn’t even wanna move and hid under a table…

so yeah I just grabbed her put back in the carrier/backpack and took her back home

eh… I kinda want a cat that acts like a dog ngl xD too bad 🤷‍♂️

My cat literally just rolls on the floor and bit the leash part when I tried to take her outside in a harness xD

I mean I’m no expert, but if it’s marketed as safe for pets then I hope you can trust it. Small pets and exotics are different cause there’s all sorts of crap on the market that’s bad for them, but at least with cats and dogs I would think there are standards.

Mine has two full sides entirely of mesh, plus the sloped top panel. So there’s plenty of airflow. I don’t know what yours looks like and even if it did I’m not really certified to say what’s safe or what isn’t.

I find cats are mostly independent and don’t like being carried around too much. Growing up we had outdoor cats, but I’ve learned why that’s bad and also it’s nice to not have to worry constantly, so my cat now is entirely indoor. I’ve thought about getting her a harness to take her out with, but she would just be getting a taste of the outdoors with no real freedom, and she would probably start begging to be let out. Cats tend to not really like harnesses anyway.
