    I’m so glad I built a new system with 64gb of ddr5 just a month or two before memory prices started to skyrocket

      Same here; Upgraded the old media/gaming PC in the living room back in October.

      The same 32GB kit I bought then for $90 is now $430. Utterly insane.

    I’m sorry, but that would depress me further. I’d rather just avoid the topic entirely, and focus on ways of squeezing the most out of what I’ve got - starting with lightweight Linux distros, or a “Tiny” stripped down Windows release should I have to go that route.
